DAYVIEWER HELP SECTION
Here are some tips to help you get going with DayViewer
1. How it works, simply sign up (click Join Today banner) above fill in some details and you should then receive an Activation Email in your mailbox.
- Note that if you have not yet received the email, please check your Spam mail folder.
2. After you have logged in simply explore, we suggest if you have some friends you do activities with or anyone you know that might be able to make use of this site, Invite them by clicking on the invite section, simply either use the "by Webmail" function or type in their email addresses in the "Invite Individually"section.
3. Browse your calendar:
Your calendar is absolutely private to you, all entries are only visible to you only, with the exception of "events" (which will appear on invitees calenders who you are linked to within DayViewer)
You can create:
- NOTES- these are reminders, maybe something happening soon you may need a quick reminder about, make a quick note about it!
- TASKS- tasks have a deadline and a progress bar associated with them, therefore create Tasks if you wish to accomplish something and like to judge progress.
- PAYMENT REMINDERS- Payment reminders are for your bills, and other payments which you can keep a track of and will be reminded of that are up and coming!, no more nasty surprises!
- EVENTS -
- Events you can create events for yourself, e.g. you may have a trade show or conference to visit, or even if you need to visit your nan, events have location associated with them.
- Events where RSVP is required: Once you have a few contacts also on DayViewer you can add them whilst creating an event (i.e. a meeting) They will receive a notification and also a calendar entry will be placed in their calendar. Events cannot be edited once created so make sure its all perfect before you hit the send invites button. Guests can RSVP and you will be able to see whether they can attend or not, then simply confirm once satisfied the event is going ahead.
- Events where RSVP is not required: This is the same as previous, only difference is that the Event is confirmed straight away (use for informal gatherings where number of attendees does not matter)
